Meaning “three horned face”
The herbivorous Triceratops had three horns and a parrot like beak. Its massive skull was almost one third the size of its body which was about 26 feet in length, and weighed between 6 to 12 tons.
The triceratops and the Tyrannosaurus Rex are believed to have been enemies. While the T-Rex preyed on the Triceratops, the Triceratops was one of the few dinosaurs that could challenge the T-Rex and even stand a chance of winning!
