Meaning “roof lizard”
The stegosaurus had vertically arranged triangular plates, called “scutes” on its back.
An adult weighed between 5 and 7 tons, and could be up to 29 feet long. Despite being so big, it had a tiny head and its brain was about the size of a big dogs’ :o !
The herbivorous stegosaurus had shorter fore limbs than hind limbs and moved slowly, eating shrubs and other low lying plants, and even some rocks!
Bloon Toys Stegosaurus has been handmade using white oak wood.
